Changing the Future of Chained Dogs in Our Community

We are ChainFree Chattanooga, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, judgment-free organization whose mission is to build fences for dogs who are continuously tethered or confined in small pens. 

Each family in our program receives spaying/neutering services, fencing installation, and shelter – all at no cost to the owner.

We believe that keeping dogs with families who love them is better than adding to our community's overburdened shelter system.

Our goal is to do more than put a band-aid on an ongoing problem – we are passionate about making real and lasting changes that improve the quality of life for dogs in our community.

Volunteer With Us

Help us improve the lives of chained dogs in our community! All are welcome — No special skills or experience needed. Our typical build takes 2-3 hours and is scheduled on a weekend.
